Ngerenge child support is a charity started by Mt Goshen international Ministries, it started in 2019 during and after Covid-19. We had a passion for Innocent children who were abondoned. In Ngerenge landing site children abondonment is very high. Many ladies come to prosecution with fishmen and end up neglecting there children when they plan to go back. So we receive and help three  categories

1: Children whose either of the parents die and can’t support themselves.

2: Children whose parents are alcoholic addicted and can’t help the children to grow

3: Children who are completely abondoned by thier parents.

While taking care of these children we coordinate with their families to see that the family tie is stregthen.

In Uganda mostly Ngerenge landing site child neglect is a form of abuse, an egregious behavior of care giver for example parents that results in depriving a child of thier basic needs, such as failure to provide suppervision, health care, education, clothing or Housing

Our intervention

1 . Best interest principal: it is primary consideration in all matters involving this child, including the well fare of child

2: Do no harm principal:in here we do good which provides the benefits of the child and contribution to his welfare all to benefit the child.

3:Knowledge application, Giving them basic knowledge in reading and writing and how to vision the future, child development and child survival skills

We believe that every Child has a right to live free from violence, expliotation and abuse since children

Estimated budget and costs on the project is  £774,937
