Elderly support initiative

Elderly Support Initiative is a Non-Denominational Christian charity offering help to vulnerable older persons and their dependents in our branches . It  was founded by Pr.Dr Munyaneza Joseph Patrick and his Wife Generous . We work with individuals and groups of elderly persons across all our branches. We visit their homes, have a one on one talk and provide them with individual basic needs. We have so far reached over 150 homes of the elderly persons. We focus on community strength and resources by raising awareness among communities to help older persons. We want to acquire a 2 acre piece of land within Masaka , Mitiyana and isingiro to establish a service centre which will serve as a call in centre for the elderly, with facilities to provide tailor made services and Handcraft to these vulnerable members of our society.

 Our aim is to developing programs for older adults in religious congregations, seeking to equip them with faith-hope and enthusiasms to live long life and a better understanding of their roles and responsibility in their community.
